Speed Streak Xbox Controller Setup

This guide shows how to use an Xbox controller with Speed Streak in Anki on Windows.

The goal is to make review feel faster and more immersive by letting you answer cards from the controller while still getting Speed Streak’s timer, visuals, and vibration feedback.

What you need

• A Windows PC
• Anki Desktop
• The Speed Streak add-on installed
• An Xbox controller
• JoyToKey installed

Step 1: Download JoyToKey

Download JoyToKey here:

https://joytokey.en.softonic.com/

After installing it, open JoyToKey.

Step 2: Open the JoyToKey config folder

In JoyToKey, go to:

File → Open config data folder in Explorer

This opens the folder where JoyToKey stores controller profiles.

Step 3: Create the config file (Pre-Loaded Controller Setup)
